The Farm Holiday "Rio Manzolo" is situated in the low hills of Romagna along the river Senio valley. The ancient proprietary double court building, belonging to the storic family Rondinini, derives its name Rio Manzolo from the brook rising beside it, once, probably for cattle farming.

The house was built in medieval age and then it was rebuilt in 17th century with a small church near it dedicated to Our Lady of Sorrow. The farm is still managed by the Rondinini's heirs, it is 12 hectars wide, and produces fruits and grapes. Visitors can taste fresh fruits, conserves and wines, like "Sangiovese di Romagna" and "Trebbiano di Romagna". Guests can find accomodation in elegant and confortable rooms with bathroom, in an ancient and charming atmosphere, discovering the preserved details of the ancient building. All around you have a sweet and pleasant hilly countriside, a mix of cultivated, woods, ravines, genistas and ancient medieval watch towers.
