DESCRIPTION FARM-HOUSE LE QUERCE DEL VAREGLIO

The farmhouse dates back to the late 1600s, we decided to restore the building, aiming to preserve the beauty of the original 17th-century architectural elements, such as the brick vaults and beams. During the restoration work, the original architectural elements were preserved, as symbols of the sobriety and simplicity that still characterise Langhe and Roero. The farmhouse has 15 rooms on different floors. Each room is equipped with all comforts to make your stay pleasant and relaxing. The rooms are personalised by simple yet original paintings and furniture. The farmhouse is immersed in its 30 hectares of park: a little green paradise preserved over the years for the pleasure of the guests who rediscover a connection with nature in it. The garden and the pool offer a pleasant space, cosy and peaceful, ideal for relaxing moments accompanied by a book or an invigorating dip in the pool. The farmhouse maintains its traditional role of farm house: the orchard offers the scents of flowers and the goodness of fruits in the summer – plums, cherries and peaches. The vegetable garden produces the vegetables that our chef will skilfully use in the kitchen
The park is home to our animals: poultry, young goats, ostriches and horses, always a main attraction for kids and adults. We are 3 km away from Canale, 15 km from Alba, 20 km from Asti. You can easily reach us from the Highway exits Marene, Carmagnola and Marene.
We are 60 km away from the Caselle Airport, Turin.

DESCRIPTION ROOMS

The farmhouse offers standard and executive double rooms, and junior and executive suites. Each room will surprise you with its simplicity and at the same time with the attention to detail, making you feel right at home right away.

The rooms are equipped with summer and winter air conditioning, hair dryer, phone and internet connection, mini-bar, safe and TV. The suite, junior suite and executive suite have a large living area with living room and small kitchen.

The large windows offer a spectacular view. A room on the main level has been entirely arranged to accommodate persons with disabilities.
Within the splendid farmhouse, our chef offers the best of the traditional Piedmontese cuisine, finely revisited with a modern perspective. As always, we like to offer new dishes every week. Simplicity meets the authenticity of our farmhouse products, like the traditional fresh pasta, well-paired vegetables, and fruit for fresh and light desserts. Wine is carefully kept in the cellar excavated in the tuff next to the main building, where temperature and humidity are optimal. Besides numerous labels of local wines of Langhe and Roero, the restaurant offers the possibility to taste the wine produced with our estate grapes.

The original 17th-century ceiling beams, the floor in terracotta tiles and the oak furniture recreate a simple yet elegant ambiance, ideal for business lunches, family dinners and banquets for special occasions.The smaller room at the front is ideal for romantic dinners and private moments in an intimate, softly-lit setting. Breakfast is served in the restaurant rooms or in the outdoor patio, and it is a typical Italian breakfast: bread and biscuits freshly baked, jams, yoghurt, seasonal fruit and local cheeses and charcuterie. The suggestive landscape and the peace of these places, amidst paths, woods and hills covered in vineyards, is enough to fascinate anyone. Sport and nature lovers will find here the space where they can practice a wide variety of activities, like hiking, cycling and motorbiking. These areas have always been known and appreciated for the creativity of their dishes and the numerous nuances of their wines. In addition to the White Truffle of Alba, you will discover the goodness of home-made cheeses, chocolate and other confectionary delights of ancient tradition and symbol of a refined food and wine culture.
