Old Haunt ...The name recalls an old custom according to which in the last century, farming families around Asciano gathered at the end of the day in this beautiful farmhouse on top of the Hill to talk, sing, relax a little after days of intense work …And while women looked after the children, the men were talking and playing cards ... so were "to sleep ": this saying is even today used to describe those warm summer evenings where families gather for frescheggiare in the Hague, while watching the stars and discuss long day just passed …Once in Tuscany, families were numerous and were called "patriarchal " because the householder, the so-called "capoccio ", with their children and their families was in the farm and all together they cultivated the land and herded animals.
So the passion for the land of the breadwinner Renato, was born this farm, a reality of modest dimensions but cured and followed with care by family Lanini, who performed a painstaking restoration of the farmhouse "L 'antico Ritrovo ".
The methods by which the lands are cultivated and bred animals are environmentally friendly and rhythms that spontaneously, nature marks.
L Old Ritovo is a farm located in the province of Siena in Tuscany: the most beautiful region of Italy. Thanks to its strategic location, is ideal for visiting Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra, Cortona, Pienza, Montalcino, Montepulciano, Chianti or the idyllic and popular areas of our region.
Our family has carefully restored this farmhouse (4 apartments – 14 beds) to accommodate all those who want to visit the Tuscany.

The farmhouse's structure, arranged in 4 appartments, offers the swimmigpool (12m) with deckchairs and beach umbrellas for spending relaxing days. Also available to clients, the farmhouese offers a laundry room with washing machine, iron, ironing board and a drying rack. Each apartment has a barbecue available. Apartments “Air-Aria”, “Fire-Fuoco” and “Water-Acqua” have a fireplace. The housefarm has a wifi internet conection totaly free.
