The area of Chianti is located in the provinces of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/florence\" target=\"_blank\">Florence<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/siena\" target=\"_blank\">Siena<\/a>. <!--more-->In this part of Tuscany the well-known <strong>wine DOCG<\/strong> is produced. The land has a rectangular shape, and is characterized by the presence of numerous hills and a few rivers, a feature which makes this place very attractive from the point of view of the landscape. Among the most interesting areas to visit there are the towns of <strong>Poggibonsi<\/strong> and <strong>Greve in Chianti<\/strong>.<br>\nThe Sienese Chianti region corresponds to the southern part of the territory, while the Florentine Chianti region is in the northernmost portion. The territory of Chianti wine\u2019s production was <strong>institutionalized in 1932<\/strong>, and several discussions are going on about its actual extension and the most suitable definition to describe its borders.What is certain is that the wine produced here is one of the jewels of the Italian tradition in the world, and you can visit places of great aesthetic value, such as the towns of <strong>Fiesole<\/strong> (where Leonardo Da Vinci spent part of his childhood) and <strong>Barberino Val d\u2019Elsa<\/strong>, where you can visit the charming church of Sant\u2019Appiano, dating back to the twelfth century.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When we talk of the Chianti hills we are immediately reminded of the image of wine, one of the most important in Italy.
