It is a territory located between three lands of great charm such as Calabria, Apulia and Basilicata, and the places worth visiting in this area are countless.<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<div dir=\"ltr\">From the historical point of view, we note that the name derives from the <strong>ancient Greek city<\/strong>, a major center for trade and for culture. Those who want to make a trip to these places can choose among a variety of landscapes, and of the valuable instances of art and architecture. Among the things not to be missed we mention the Temple of Hera, located in Metaponto, where you can also see the relics enshrined at the local National Archaeological Museum.
