{"id":310,"date":"2010-06-15T09:51:10","date_gmt":"2010-06-15T08:51:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/blog\/?p=310"},"modified":"2014-11-07T16:05:57","modified_gmt":"2014-11-07T15:05:57","slug":"teaching-farmhouses","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/blog\/2010\/06\/teaching-farmhouses\/","title":{"rendered":"Teaching farmhouses"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/fattorie-didattiche.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-311\" title=\"fattorie didattiche\" src=\"http:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/fattorie-didattiche.jpg\" alt=\"fattorie didattiche\" width=\"308\" height=\"222\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>the  Veneto Region has decided to promote and develop the Project Teaching  Farmhouses,<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>in line  with the experiences of the school\u2019s educational approach to\u201d farm \u201c-  understood both as a physical place and as a container of meaning  informational, cultural and symbolic \u2013 being tested Veneto on the  initiative of institutions, associations or even simple business.<\/p>\n<p>From  some surveys show that 30% of Italian children have never seen a live  sheep. For two children out of ten cows is only a colored drawing on  paper of chocolate and 80% of children have never seen a garden with the  most common plants: tomatoes, peppers, radishes, cabbage.<\/p>\n<p>Ultimately, the  kids of today have increasingly vague idea of the route that makes the  food before coming to the table, and do not know that behind the food is  not only the food industry, but also the earth and those who work.<\/p>\n<p>Just starting from these considerations, the  Regional Councillor for Agriculture of the Veneto Region has planned as  early as 1999 initiatives for the school, with the aim to strengthen the  bonds of our children \u2013 but also their families \u2013 with their roots and territory,  by promoting knowledge of agricultural production, understood as  essential for the conservation of land resources, and while encouraging  greater communication between producers and consumers.<\/p>\n<p>The  \u201cfarm\u201d is therefore intended to enhance the local identity, the local  economy and local products, with the aim of creating a network of  relationships between producers and young consumers, mediated world of  school, to rediscover the cultural value and ecological agriculture and  the rural world.<\/p>\n<p>A working group, sponsored and coordinated by the  Department of Agriculture and in which there are the agricultural and  tourism professional associations \u2013 representing actors needed to build  the network of farms \u2013 has already helped achieve some significant  results, such as sharing the overall design and construction of two cycles  of training courses \u2013 organized and managed by the regional training in  agriculture \u2013 for farmers wishing to carry out educational activities on  the farm.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/veneto\" target=\"_blank\">Find your farmhouse in VENETO&gt;&gt;&gt;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Source: Veneto Region<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>the Veneto Region has decided to promote and develop the Project Teaching Farmhouses,<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[4],"tags":[178,176,177],"class_list":["post-310","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-activities-in-agritourism","tag-farmhouses","tag-teaching-farmhouses","tag-veneto-region"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/310","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/3"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=310"}],"version-history":[{"count":5,"href":"https:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/310\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":5678,"href":"https:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/310\/revisions\/5678"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=310"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=310"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/blog\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=310"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
