It would be really long to list all the places that are worth a visit in this wonderful land: nowadays, we focus on one in particular, the <strong>Gulf of Taranto<\/strong>. <!--more-->It is the area of \u200b\u200bsea that goes <strong>from Santa Maria di Leuca to Punta Meliso<\/strong>, and that includes some interesting places such as <strong>Gallipoli<\/strong>, and fascinating beaches such as Lido Azzurro and Lido Gandoli.<\/p>\n<p>Other touris resorts are the <strong>Cheradi Islands<\/strong>, with testimonies from the time of Ancient Greece, when the historian Thucydides wrote about them. The Gulf of Taranto is a wonderful gem of Puglia, but also the city is worth a visit, especially for monuments such as <strong>Sant\u2019Angelo Castle and the Cathedral of San Cataldo<\/strong>, dating back to 1070.<\/p>\n<p>Puglia is magical, and Taranto and its bay are two small pieces of a mosaic of incomparable beauty, which can be discovered thanks to a <strong>stay at a farmhouse<\/strong>, after having a look at our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.agriturismi.it\/en\/gulf_of_taranto\" target=\"_blank\">offers<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Puglia is a region characterized by beautiful and unique landscapes.
