Today we go to the province of Livorno<\/strong>, in that famous stretch of coastline known as the Etruscan Coast<\/a>. Over 90 km of beaches and a sea that were awarded the Blue Flag for water quality. Resorts such as Piombino, Castagneto Carducci, Bibbona, San VIncenzo and Cecina, as well as the Baths of Venturina with their natural springs, make this place unique for the diversity of landscapes and the richness of tourist proposals.<\/p>\n

Do not miss the Etruscan settlements overlooking the sea, between the Gulf of Baratti and Populonia, and the variety of archaeological parks and museums devoted to this ancient civilization; beautiful trails run between the pine forests along the coast and in the hills, ideal for cycling and hiking, especially in the Livorno Hills Park. The culinary tradition of the Etruscan Coast is no exception: fresh fish is the real star of the kitchen, in recipes such as the famous fish soup from Livorno and rice with squid ink; the Wine Route provides world-known labels such as Sassicaia and Ornellaia. We present some suggestions for a route among the sea, nature and history, with a regenerating break at the farmhouse.<\/p>\n

1) SEA AND EXCURSIONS IN THE HILLS IN CASTELLACCIO<\/b>
\nIn Castellaccio, on the borders of the Natural Park of the Forest of Montenero, the Residence in the Countryside Erba di Campo<\/a>, just minutes from the sea of Quercianella along the scenic Romito, a cliff of pink stone of rare beauty.<\/p>\n
