The typical aspect of this territory is rich of churches and castles: the Monrupino Rock, the Hrastovlje Rock, and the Church of Santa Maria in Siaris. This territory is also rich in archaeological areas: the Castellieri, the Mitreo grove, the Pocala cavern. The Carso is a beautiful landscape for trekking and climbs.
