The Gran Paradiso is a mountain in Graie Alps and it is the biggest in the same name Range. It is located in Italian territory in Valle d’Aosta and Piemonte. The Gran Paradiso National Park is extended in 70.000 hectares of high mountain territory. The history of this park is connected to the stein bock history. In Val d’Aosta the Park has 3 centres for visitors: in Cogne, Valsavarenche and Rhemes-Notre-Dame.
