The ancient noble bertanzi mochi onori family, known for its long and illustrious history, has owned the estate since 1742. the farmhouse le vigne di pace, located in the countryside between umbria and tuscany, is an ideal base for visits to the charming nearby cities such as assisi, siena, perugia, lake trasimeno, pienza, gubbio, cortona. or just a chance for a vacation in the green in contact with nature where you can disconnect from the hectic everyday and regenerate your energies through contact with the active life of the farm. the farm, throughout the years, has developed and improved the hospitality in farmhouse and the wine tasting offer. the farm extends over an area of about 50 hectares many of which are covered by vineyards, the rest by cereals, while in a small proportion are produced organic fruits and vegetables. some of the estate's ancient buildings have been completely restored and subdivided into elegant and comfortable apartments preserving the charm of a typical umbrian house, such as brick, stone and wooden beams. the apartments are surrounded by a large garden with swimming pool overlooking a picturesque hilly landscape made of vineyards, olive trees, sunflowers and woods. in the restaurant, warm and homely, you can taste wines accompanied by the classic dishes of umbrian cuisine
