The latest ISTAT data on unemployment are clear: 37.1% of the Italian population between 15 and 24 years are unemployed, a situation that had not been so negative since 1992. There’s a lot to think about, but we can also breathe a sigh of relief, since the same data show a 4% increase in the companies run by Under-30 businessmen. We have already had the opportunity to talk about how young entrepreneurs can be a leading engine for country in crisis, and the data confirm a positive trend in a negative situation. Companies run by under 30 are increasing, and the agricultural business increased by 2% in the final part of last year, as compared to the previous 90 days.

The need to rethink the general dynamics of work is increasingly urgent, as these surveys remind us, and they help us to understand that the love for the land can be a solution of great interest in order to optimize a resource of inestimable value: young entrepreneurs.
