The last few years have seen a very interesting growth of agricultural enterprises. We have repeatedly pointed out that the attention to the sector can be a driver out of the crisis, and data demonstrate it very clearly.
The 40% of farms currently active on the market were born after 2000. It was certainly not a difficult year like the one we are experiencing, but no doubt a period in which a new balance was defined.
Looking at the data mentioned above, which are linked to a Cia-Censis survey, 10% of the owners are under 40 years of age. Worthy of note the percentages of those who have decided to devote themself to agricultural activity before the age of 25, showing that, indeed, the first sector is a very popular choice among those who decide not to give in to the grip of the crisis, and to turn a passion into a job.
