Summer has just begun, and many of you are thinking about where to go on vacation. We want to carry on, and present a number of events dedicated to the beautiful time of grape harvest.
The wine is a fundamental asset for the Italian economy, and every year you can celebrate it in different ways. The grape harvest 2013 offers the opportunity to participate in events such as “Grape Harvest in villa”, which will take place on 8 September in Luvigliano, in the province of Padua. On this occasion it will be possible to collect the grapes, press them and bottle the wine, all in a wonderful evocation of the context of this ancient and fundamental practice.
Another festival dedicated to the grape harvest is to be held in Piedimonte Etneo (Catania province) from September 28 to 30. This event is now at its sixteenth edition, and is an opportunity for those who want to experience the evocative power of the Sicilian tradition.
Those who will be in Tuscany will instead take advantage of the “Grape and Wine Feast”, which will take place in Chiusi (Siena) September 27 to 29, when for the 31st time the restaurateurs of the town will dedicate themselves to the promotion of wine of the area.
