It is like going back in time and re-discovering old perfumes of the rural Sicilian tradition amongst the citrus and the olive trees, in the background of an enchanting view of Mount Etna. For several years now, the Baglìo Family has re-discovered the love for nature and decided to enhance the large resources of the land in the best of ways. At first the Baglio Family was only committed to production, but has now converted to agritourism. Introducing and sharing typical Sicilian flavours, thanks to the authenticity of its products and offering a haven of peace for a totally relaxing time in the country - these are the main reasons that boosted the Baglìo Family toward this decision. Agritourism Masseria Pezza del Medico is ideal for those who wish to spend a relaxing holiday, whilst being close to the city, major shopping malls and most famous tourist destinations of Easte Sicily. The dining room is large and homely, fully air conditioned and decorated with pictures and objects of the family. Guests can enjoy a cuisine full of dishes and flavours of Sicilian tradition, particularly attentive to the use of high quality home produced and seasonal products. The care for integrity of our products is the same that we dedicate to the preparation of food for our guests. For lovers of olive oil, we serve our extra virgin olive oil in a small bowl with fresh home made bread, cooked in a traditional wood stove. The rooms being spacious and welcoming with a rustic wooden roof, have every comfort: large en suite bathroom with shower, air conditioning, TV and Wi-Fi.
