The Agriturismo (Farm Holidays) is located at the foot of Monte Rosa mountain, in Alagna Valsesia, in one of the most beautifull, sunniest and ancient Walser village "the Rusa " (Fun d 'Rufinu) at an altitude of 1400mt, the place where also we live and where our cows live and graze. From here it is possible to enjoy a pleasant overlooking, the beautiful Sesia river and the villages of Alagna and Riva Valdobbia surrounded by their mountain peaks. Our history of farmers and toma cheese producers has ancient origins, dating back to the arrival of the Walser people to the Valsesian territory, a passion passed down from mother to child, which involved the whole family. The holiday in the Agriturismo is perfect for those who want a direct link with nature and animals, peace and tranquility away from the busy city, in the simplicity of an ancient village left as once was, with its rhythms and its values. The Alagna Agriturismo is of recent construction, entirely in wood and stone, perfectly integrated into the surrounding environment both from the point of view of nature and architecture. Surrounded by beech, pine and larch forests, its meadows are also frequently visited by deers, foxes, squirrels, rabbits and different kinds of birds. On the ground floor is the farm where there are many cows, steers and calves, goats and their puppies, roosters and hens, and often large litters of shepherd dogs as well as an elegant halfinger mare named Sabina. From the first floor five rooms have been created, all made of larch wood, each with a private bathroom and TV satellite. A cozy breakfast room where guests can taste our products as well as a quiet corner where read, connect via wi-fi or spend time with board games. The outside terrace, surrounded by the beaches and with a great sun exposure, is perfect to relax or to organize wonderful barbecues. Always the farmer gets up at dawn to care for and milk the cows, even today, missing his appointment with his cows, when the sun has yet to rise... So in our cozy dining for breakfast on the table you will find fresh milk, creamy yogurt and various cheeses. There will also still warm and fragrant bread, croissants and delicious freshly baked cakes strictly prepared with butter and fresh ricotta cheese. To give color and flavor to our buffet will also find cereals, homemade jams and fresh fruit. All rooms of have been obtained over the farm, including the ba and stable. There are five rooms, all made of larch wood treated with natural oils to bring out the most of the golden color of the conifer. Each room is on two levels. Cozy living area, LCD TV with satellite and comfortable sofa. Large private bathroom with shower glass, hairdryer and heated towel rail. On the mezzanine large double beds and soft duvets. There is also the possibility to connect to the internet via wi-fi. Ideal for those who want to carve out moments of absolute relaxation and intimacy, can accommodate up to four people.
