La Tensa farm holiday and tavewere obtained from the complete recovery of an historical mountain village placed in Domodossola, Piedmont. La Tensa is a typical group of ossolan stone buildings, surrounded by woods and fields. The village was inhabited since the beginning of ’60. Gradually abandoned it and a progressive decay started, which lasted in the year 2000, when human work began. Buildings and typical cultivated terraces were recovered.
Today La Tensa is a wonderful rural village placed 600 m sea level, in a panoramic position, near to Sacro Monte Calvario and ski station Domobianca.
With La Tensa farm holiday and tavewe offer an high-grade rural reception for a visitor in search of an ancient hospitality and conviviality. A place where you can taste ossolan traditional cooking and find beautiful locations, full of history.
You can reach La Tensa from Vallesone village, on the provincial street Domodossola – Lusentino (Domobianca). We have a big reserved parking.
