Valle_MetauroThe Metauro Valley is located in the Marche region, and it is formed by the river by the same name. Located in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, the valley is divided into three parts: Upper Metauro Valley, Middle Metauro Valley, and Lower Metauro Valley.

In this part of the region we find some of the most fascinating areas of  Marche. This land is a meeting point between natural beauty and fantastic villages from the architectural point of view, and spending here a few days is always an extraordinary experience.

Among the milestones for those who intend to discover this part of Marche there is Fano, famous for its ancient carnival and important archaeological findings such as the site of Monte Giove (dating back to the Paleolithic), and Acqualagna, a village of just more than 4,000 people with interesting instances of sacred architecture, among which there is the beautiful church of  St. John, dating back to the fourteenth century and built in red brick.

The Metauro Valley is a truly magical place, also described in the literary works by Torquato Tasso, and discovering it by staying at a farmhouse can be a very good solution.
