Today we’d like to recommend three destinations that are perfect for a summer weekend… three farmhouses with a beautiful swimming pool for a relaxing break in the countryside, surrounded by beautiful landscapes!
1) RELAXING AMONG THE APENNINES NEAR BOLOGNA
Our first stop-over is the Farmhouse Lodole Country House, originating from the restoration of a typical seventeenth-century villa: cozy rooms, ceilings with exposed beams, original stone walls and floors. It is located on a hill inside the Molino del Pero Golf Club, a short drive from Bologna and just 70 km from Florence.
Furnished with style and attention to detail, the rooms are different from each other both in the furnishings and characteristic colors. The beautiful outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace surrounded by greenery of the Bolognese Apennines, is the ideal place to spend some unforgettable hours of relaxation in the hills. Every morning the breakfast room hosts a buffet with cakes made by Alice, homemade biscuits, fresh bread, jam, butter, honey, yogurt, cereals, fruit salad, cold meats and local cheese, fruit juices, milk, coffee, tea and cappuccino. 2) SWIMMING POOL WITH A STUUNING VIEW OVER LAKE TRASIMENO
We are in Umbria, at the Farmhouse Villa Osvaldo, an old farm built back in 1684 near Lake Trasimeno on the border with Tuscany, in a panoramic position at 350 meters above sea level.
The facility is divided into 9 nice apartments, each one having its own outdoor area with tables and chairs. In one part of the ground floor is a charming resting spot where the owners will cook traditional dishes and delicious grilled meat of the highest quality, accompanied by the excellent wine produced in these lands. Guests can enjoy traditional dishes made with products grown within the company. Lake Trasimeno with its three islands, in the countryside and surrounded by hills of olive groves, is the backdrop to our itinerary. Villa Osvaldo spans 30 hectares, on which are produced the wine DOC Colli del Trasimeno, top extra virgin olive oil, honey and other genuine food for guests. A beautiful swimming pool and bikes are available as well as a horse riding facility close-by, while the baths of Chianciano are just 15 minutes from the farm.
3) CHILLING IN A NATURAL OASIS AMONG THE HILLS OF FLORENCE

harmoniously inserted in the green hills of Cerbaie overlooking the lake basin of the Padule, a protected oasis in the Province of Florence. The large swimming pool, equipped with parasols and sun loungers is a great way to relax with a swim among the woods of Tuscany. The facility offers its guests private gardens and a swimming pool surrounded by greenery as well as a large dining room where you can taste and appreciate the typical products of the land of Tuscany such as cheese, wines and game. The Restaurant Le Colombaie, in an enchanting landscape is the backdrop to a day surrounded by nature, with a splendid panoramic view over the marsh. The kitchen of Le Colombaie features the flavors of a century-old Tuscan tradition: seasonal products, tastes and flavors of the farm.
