"Godenano di Mezzo is an ancient farm situated in the heart of the Castellina in Chianti countryside and that of Chianti Classico Senese, one of the most beautiful areas in the splendid Tuscan region.
We are surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and oak woods but at the same time only a few minutes distance from the historical township of Castellina in Chianti. The farmhouse is itself situated on the antique stone terraces which for centuries have surrounded the town and on which grow our olive trees.

Being a protected faunistic area set aside for the repopulation of wild animals, one is able to admire the wildlife typical of this territory especially at dusk, deer, wildboar, pheasant, hare and birdlife all live undisturbed on the property.

Owned and run by our family, the property offers our guests a warm and welcome enviroment in which to enjoy typical tuscan hospitality and enjoy genuine produce such as our own extra virgin olive oil, grapes, fruit and vegetables in season all produced by ourselves.

Me and my husband stayed in this beautiful property for a week in September. The hosting family was very nice and welcoming. Amazing location, silent and relaxing. Siena and Florence easy to reach by car, 20 and 40 mins drive; 5 mins walk to the center of Castellina in Chianti, a pretty typical tuscan style town where you can find restaurants and shops, and the best gelato!! The view is stunning from the pool, and Otto their guard dog, so friendly. I recommend this place and will surely be back
