Description Sambuco

The agriculture-based business, Sambuco, rises on the morainic hills of Garda Lake, among vineyards, olive groves, co fields and conifer woods; it extends over an area of about 15 hectares and is behind the town centre of the historic region of Pastrengo The area is hilly and the land is situated on different levels, surrounded on the South/West side by a forest on whose summit are two large Austrian forts. The hilly position accentuates the view to the east with Garda Lake, in the north Valpolicella and the foothills of Veneto and Trentino, and to the west is the town of Verona while the Po Valley stretches to the south. The building, which is situated within a historic court was originally intended as a rural dwelling and included the homes of rural families, stables, bas, a tool shelter and all the areas to support agricultural activities. Besides the large and welcoming communal areas like the hall, the lobby, the old kitchen and the terraces with stone floors, the structure offers two apartments and eleven spacious rooms characterised by old distinctive elements whose names evoke their former intended use: Il Fienile, la Bifora, il Granaio, la Colombaia, la Nicchia, la Legnaia, la Porta, la Soffitta, la Capriata, la Casetta, il Camino The desire to keep the taste and atmosphere of the country residence unchanged was the basis for restructuring the buildings with careful painstaking work to by using construction materials and technical solutions typical of the Venetian Countryside. The Agriturismo Sambuco site has a swimming pool 75 m ² and a large green park; it offers its guests a series of useful services to make their stay even more pleasant and relaxing. For lovers of walking, jogging and trekking there is a path between the woods, olive trees and vineyards approximately 3 km long that winds inside and outside of the property.
