The Christmas holidays are approaching, and several farmhouses in Italy are offering their guests special prices and deals for a holiday at the heart of nature. Today we suggest some events not to be missed on the occasion of the Epiphany, January 6th!1) Verona
We cannot forget the event which closes the Christmas holidays in the beautiful Piazza Bra, Verona: January 6 is “Brusa la Vecia”, with the lighting of the traditional bonfire and the burning of the old woman, Befana, deeply rooted in folklore.

The event is the culmination of an afternoon of entertainment and music, and is preceded by the arrival of the Magi. The Epiphany is also a good opportunity for a visit to the impressive exhibition of nativity scenes set up in the magical setting of the Arena: artistic creations from around the world,… not to be missed! Accommodation: Farmhouse Corte Pellegrini, housed in a lovely villa in an estate of over 25 acres and a park, with a restaurant serving dishes prepared using organic products.

2) Florence
Florence also hosts a traditional event on the occasion of the Epiphany:

the famous Procession of the Magi, which every year in the afternoon of January 6 kicks off from the Pitti Palace to reach the Cathedral, passing through Piazza della Signoria. The Magi ride wearing rich Renaissance costumes, preceded by a procession of hundreds of people, also in costume, to finally reach the Duomo with the Living Nativity Scene, to bring their gifts to Baby Jesus. The holidays can be an opportunity to rediscover the city gleaming with lights and visit the wonderful Uffizi Gallery with its treasures.
Accommodation: Country Holiday House Tenuta Quadrifoglio, converted from an old farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside, with beautiful furniture. Neighboring facilities offer relaxing massage; customized cooking classes are available.

3) Trento
The Trentino region is the region of Christmas markets, and Epiphany is one of the last opportunities to discover the treasures of crafts and delicacies they enclose, in the dreamy atmosphere of the mountain! Among the markets not to be missed, we suggest the market in the streets and squares of Trento, and for children, the train of Santa Claus until January 6 through the old town. Do not miss a visit to the village of Miola, on the Piné plateau, which until January 6 turns into a big crib, made up of many small artistic creations that dot the streets of the country, the porches, the windows of the stables creating a magical atmosphere.
Accommodation: Farmhouse Golden Pause, surrounded by forests of beech and fir trees with views of the Dolomites. On booking, a small spa for guests with sauna and turkish bath, for a moment of relaxation. To enjoy breakfast with jam and delicious strudel.
