The owner of the Agriturismo Puntalizzu is Fabio Coronas, expert hiker and biker and enthusiast of Sardinian culture. Its proposals vary from the construction of itineraries throughout Sardinia for the most demanding customers: culture and museums, environment, territories and popular traditions, caves, forests and mountains. Description Puntalizzu

Agriturismo Puntalizzu is located in Siniscola, in the province of Nuoro, in the heart of Sardinia. Nestled in a charming forest of centuries-old oaks and Mediterranean scrub, it stands on a gentle slope and offers accommodation in independent apartments, each equipped with a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and veranda, all boasting a splendid sea view. Guests can choose from different stay options: B&B (overnight stay, breakfast, and services), half board (overnight stay, breakfast, dinner, and services), or only room (apartment rental with services). Discounts for children and extra beds for families are available. One of the highlights of the agriturismo is its traditional Sardinian and Siniscolese cuisine, made with genuine ingredients produced directly on the farm: organic extra virgin olive oil, meat, handmade traditional pasta from organic semolina, table olives, cured meats, liqueurs, jams, wine, and honey. Some of these products are available for purchase on-site. Puntalizzu is a bike-friendly agriturismo, organizing excursions and events dedicated to the world of cycling. Puntalizzu hosts its guests in comfortable apartments completely immersed in greenery and with a view of the sea just two km away. The four typologies include: the Room Suite Prètas (Pietre), a delightful room without kitchen, the only one, consisting of a stone house located in the shade of secular oaks and plants of mastic. Inside a double bed, a third bed in a sofa bed from a square and a half, bathroom, fridge, the other typologies are made up of apartments: the series Lizos (Lilies), the series Alini (breaths, like the wind that blows on the farm refreshing in summer), the Carama series, whose name evidences the position, on the hill facing the sea that can be glimpsed in the distance from the verandas. All apartments have kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and veranda, with third and fourth bed consisting of vaulted by a bunk bed, other times by a double sofa bed in the living area. In the bathrooms the washbasin, shower tray, bidet and toilet

Services in the farmhouse are made up of free wifi in the apartments and in the Belvedere terrace of the restaurant, in addition to the restaurant room itself. The laundry service is available for a fee, while the library is free of charge, as well as the manager's advice in creating naturalistic, archaeological and cultural itineraries throughout the island. The kitchens are equipped with crockery, water, electricity, gas, bed linen and towels are included in the price of the three formulas of choice: B & B, half board, single residence in apartment. The cuisine of our agriturismo uses above all products processed or cultivated within the company and offered to our clients during the season. We produce excellent extra virgin olive oil, which we use as a fundamental ingredient for the preparation of typical local recipes. The olives we serve also come from our olive grove and a good part of the fruit and vegetables we put on the table are cultivated on the farm. The pasta is made by hand, still as it used to be and maintains those flavors that are disappearing with the homogenization of industrial productions. We prepare "Sos macarrones de punzu", universally known as malloreddos (from the Campidanese term), which we serve cooked simply and dressed with meat sauces; "Sos anzelotos de recotu" (ricotta ravioli), obtained with a thin sheet filled with chard and ricotta; also "Sos anzelotos de casu" (cheese ravioli), are made by hand and filled with fresh cheese, cooked in abundant salted water, served with a meat sauce and sprinkled with pecorino. Su pane vratàtu, or pane vratàu (literally meaning ground bread) is made by arranging in layers on a plate the sheets of carasau bread previously immersed in meat broth; the bread, softened by the water, is covered with meat sauce, sprinkled with pecorino and served on a plate. Sa Supa Siniscolesa, one of the most fascinating dishes of our tradition, prepared with stale bread, broth and sheep sauce, was traditionally served on the occasion of weddings. Even today, on Thursday, the baker kneads Sa Lorica, a cylindrical bread that is cut into slices and used as a base for Sa Supa. The slices of bread are arranged in layers in a pot suitable to withstand high temperatures, sprinkled with a very flavorful and spiced sheep broth, covered with not overly concentrated sheep meat sauce and well-aged pecorino cheese up to filling it. Breakfast is composed almost exclusively of natural and corporate products, sweet and savory. Many cakes prepared directly by the owner's sister and mother, ricotta, fruit, tarts, chocolate cakes. To these are joined the typical sweets, SOS Papassinos based on short pastry and walnuts related to the period of the dead, SAS Orilletas based on braided pasta and honey related to the period of Carnival, SAS Casatinas based on pasta and cheese or ricotta related to the Easter period.
