Just 3.7 km away the village of Levane (various shops), 8 km Montevarchi (railway station from where in abt. 35 minutes you can reach Florence’s central station which itself is just a few hundred metres from the cathedral), 25 km Arezzo (an important Medieval city and which is also renowned on account of its artisan industry in crafting gold), abt. 40 km from the area of Pratomagno (Poppi, Chiusi della Verna, Bibbiena, etc.). Within a 30 km radius the most exclusive areas of the famous Chianti Classico full of prestigious agricultural estates and famous villages such as Radda, Gaiole, Greve and the Castle of Brolio. Extensive views over the hills and the forest bordering onto the Arno river and which you can reach along signed and pleasant pathways and which continue along through an interesting and protected area.
