Typical country house from the restoration of an ancient farmhouse a small residential group comprising just 9 apartments for holiday purposes has recently been created and is set in 44 ha of grounds delimited by a small forest at the bottom of the Arno valley; in the great garden ours pool, barbecue, chairs and table; around the silent and the green. Just 3.7 km away the village of Levane (various shops), 8 km Montevarchi (railway station from where in abt. 35 minutes you can reach Florence’s central station which itself is just a few hundred metres from the cathedral), 25 km Arezzo (an important Medieval city and which is also renowned on account of its artisan industry in crafting gold), abt. 40 km from the area of Pratomagno (Poppi, Chiusi della Verna, Bibbiena, etc.). Within a 30 km radius the most exclusive areas of the famous Chianti Classico full of prestigious agricultural estates and famous villages such as Radda, Gaiole, Greve and the Castle of Brolio. Extensive views over the hills and the forest bordering onto the Arno river and which you can reach along signed and pleasant pathways and which continue along through an interesting and protected area.

All apartments are independent, simply furnished and equipped with every comfort. They can accommodate from two to six people and are provided with kitchenette, equipped terrace, oven and freezer.

Agriturismo Il Palazzo La Spiga offers its guests a variety of services, including a swimming pool (16x8) connected to a children's pool (4x4), with changing rooms and bathroom facilities, an ancient wood-fired oven for pizzas, ping-pong table, and washing machine. By prior arrangement with the owner, it is possible to use a spacious lounge with fireplace (unfurnished) for group activities on the ground floor. Mountain bikes are available (€ 11.00/day/each).
