Our rooms are of various sizes and preserve the ancient characteristics of the original furnishings and therefore allow guests to immerse themselves in a dimension of the past while offering all modern comforts. Classic Double Rooms 20 sqm, Luxury Rooms 30 sqm, Garden Suites and apartments from 45 to 75 sqm. Some accommodations have independent access to the garden. All our accommodations overlook the countryside and are particularly quiet. The use of the solarium terrace and hydromassage is reserved for the Red Suite.

Historic Residence located 5 km from Arezzo, surrounded by a vast park. We offer various accommodations in spacious rooms with private bathrooms, suites, and apartments. The parking for your car or motorcycle is within the property and protected. Guests can enjoy furnished gardens and an olive grove. Ideal for those who wish to stay in elegant and original surroundings, ensuring privacy, comfort, local product tastings, and access to a charming country restaurant within walking distance. Our structure is particularly suited for couples, solo travelers, and groups without children. Historical Background: The Villa incorporates a 14th-century tower, whose original openings facing Casentino, Valdichiana, Arezzo, and Catenaia are still visible. Built on a previous structure dating before the 12th century, some caves and cellars from that period are still preserved. The property belonged to the noble Lippi family, originally from the Valtiberina, who were Ghibelline allies of the Geri family and recognized as nobles since ancient times. Their coat of arms features a red and green background separated by a golden stripe with five black balls. Marcantonio Lippi, a knight of the Order of Saint Stephen, distinguished himself during the Siege of Belgrade, where he lost his life. The property then passed to his descendants, members of the Arcadians of Rome and the Academy of the Forzati of Arezzo. In 1768, it was inherited by the Mascagni family, whose maternal line ended with the Cherici family, also of noble origins, descending from the Samuelli family, patricians of Siena since the 13th century, Knights of Saint Stephen, Gonfaloniers, and Priors of Chiusi and Montepulciano. Within the villa’s park stands "La Bella di Ceciliano", a magnificent oak tree estimated to be around 350 years old.

Beautiful Ceciliano thanks to its position near the city of Arezzo, at the gates of Casentino (Casentinesi Forests National Park) and 20/40 minutes from Anghiari, Cortona, Sansepolcro, Poppi Castle, Bibbiena, Stia, Sanctuary of La Verna, Camaldoli Hermitage, Church and Castle of Romena is the ideal starting point for daily excursions by motorcycle, car and bicycle. For lovers of walks from here you can take the Casentino little train and then continue on the trails of the National Park. There are many typical restaurants and refreshment points where you can taste the products of the territory. Many valuable antique shops, fabrics and textiles such as the famous felted wool of Casentino.
