La Staffa is located in the old village of Ariano in the charming Morainic hills, scene of the Independence Wars in 1800 which echo throughout these gently rolling hills. Grandma’s bedroom is probably the most charming room in the house. It is decorated in the authentic style of the double bedrooms of country dwellings. This room has its roots in the past when the bedroom of a house had the role of a temple. The bed was the rest place and cradle of entire generations and for centuries the cupboards treasured the few immaculate dresses used on special occasions and often also the white bread and sugar to hide them from the hungry mouths of the youngest children. The apartments: Cosy and versatile apartments suitable for the needs of families. The ceiling has been renovated preserving the original exposed beams and the double bedrooms are on a characteristic and delightful intermediate floor. All apartments have a kitchenette, heating and air conditioning. They also have a bathroom and television. Loft rooms: Spacious and bright loft rooms decorated in the same plain, simple and refined style of the house. Loft rooms with en-suite bathroom, television, heating and air conditioning. Additional beds can be added on request. This is one of the main attractions of La Staffa. The horse riding school is in one of the most delightful parts of the estate and it includes a well lit grass jumping course, a ring and learning arena. The stables are large with boxes for the horses. In addition guests have the opportunity of riding the beautiful horses owned by La Staffa. These beautiful horses are all friendly, safe and well trained. We are sure that they will become your very special friends and you won’t ever forget them.
