Since 2009, we sisters Anna and Francesca have embarked on an extraordinary adventure: providing a holiday home for couples in love, solo travelers, and families with many children. With the warmth of summer, the colors of autumn, the cold of winter and the little flowers that blossom in spring... we are here. We are always ready to welcome you in the ancient 18th-century residence, which our grandfather purchased in 1952 and which our family has carefully restored with great care and heart.
The charming Country House is set on the Adriatic Coast, in a beautiful, peaceful, rural location, yet convenient to the lively town of Pesaro and to the seaside. “Il Pignocco” is a great base for visiting very attractive historic towns located more inland, via rolling hills and stunning country roads in the region of Le Marche: Urbino, Fano, San Leo and Gradara. The holiday house, including 8 self catering apartments, sits on top of a hill, making it a perfect setting for outdoor activities, as mountain biking and walking. The accommodations lead into a large garden which features outdoor seating for relaxing, or dining and a private outdoor swimming pool, with massaging water jets. Free use of the parking is available for the duration of your stay. Nearby the country house there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy great meals in several traditional restaurants and “trattoria”. Several beaches including Gabicce, Fiorenzuola di Focara and Sirolo are within easy reach as well.
The rooms and apartments have a unique charm: the restored ancient cotto tiles create a characteristic feel; the grayish walls and exposed beams combine with the traditional textile to create a lovely peaceful atmosphere. Tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard, the rooms have independent air-conditioning and heating, cooking corner TV, free Wi-fi, telephone, small lounge or sitting room.

Il Pignocco Country House is situated in the region of Le Marche, between the Apennine Mountains and the sandy beaches of the Adriatic Sea, on the hills bordering the historical town of Pesaro. The property is a great base for visiting very attractive villages and medieval castles located more inland, via rolling hills and stunning country roads in the region of Le Marche: Fano, San Leo, Gradara and Novilara. And more, between hills and mountains, in around half an hour by car, the city of Urbino represents the birthplace of Italian Renaissance. In the mountainous hinterland, on the slopes of the Montefeltro, on the peaks of the Nerone, fortresses, ruins and sanctuaries worth a visit.
