The farm holidays “the Geranium” is bo from a passion of the family, that to share feelings and histories with those people to which it likes to stay, to slow down the frantic rhythm of the rut, even in front of the fire and to a good glass of wine. The Geranium offers the possibility to steep in a family climate, besides the tasting of Umbrian speciality, cooked with care and genuine products. A nostalgic retu to the past? No, it is the wish to restore a thread of continuity with the tradition, that retus through different forms, that go from the hospitality to the kitchen, to the relationship and dialogue with the people so that the time that spends retu to be a `time of life.` The farm holidays, is situated between Perugia and Gubbio, to alone 15 minutes from the international airport of S. Egidio and besides to the center of the triangle Perugia- Assisi- Gubbio, attainable places in few minutes. We find us in the proximities of the E45 that it connects other important centers of Umbria. Thanks to the morphology of the region, the umbrian kitchen has preserved characteristics that bring to the Middle Ages or straight to the Roman and Pre-Roman period. These peculiarities come out in the cooking of the meat, still today cooked on the spit or on the grate, as it happened in the medieval period. In our farm holidays everything is rigorously cooked to hand: from the home-made bread cooked in the firewood oven, to the first, the meats, to finish with the savoury pizza. On request we prepare, besides, vegetarian menù and food for coeliacs.

Perugia: Regional capital and one of the most important centres during the Etruscan period, with numerous artifacts still surviving to this day, it preserves the untouched charm of the medieval era, with its narrow streets, imposing palaces and remarkable artworks such as the Fontana Maggiore (created by the Pisano brothers), the Rocca Paolina, and Palazzo dei Priori. The city hosts Umbria Jazz, Italy's most prestigious festival dedicated to this genre, and Eurochocolate, a celebration of chocolate held in the second half of October. Assisi: The birthplace of St. Francis and St. Clare, this is the mystical city par excellence and a pilgrimage destination all year round. Not to be missed is the Basilica dedicated to the Saint, with its magnificent frescoes by Giotto, and the Eremo delle Carceri, where Francis was once imprisoned. We recommend exploring the city on foot through its characteristic streets, where you'll find numerous artisan shops and studios.
