Hello! We’re Giorgia and Vincenzo. After years of travelling, we decided to settle here among the Umbrian hills — in the place that truly feels like home. At Ponte di Riocchio, we share what we love most: the gentle rhythm of the countryside, genuine hospitality, and a cuisine that blends the flavours of Umbria with those of Emilia, our home region. You’ll be welcomed by us — and a few four-legged friends who are part of our big family — in a simple, well-kept place full of warmth and life. Ponte di Riocchio is a charming farmhouse set among the rolling hills of Gubbio, housed in an ancient stone country house. Surrounded by greenery and wrapped in the quiet of the Franciscan trail, it’s the perfect place to reconnect with nature and yourself, to unwind to the gentle sound of the Riocchio stream that flows alongside the property, and to enjoy our warm hospitality – the true highlight of any stay here. Sweet and savoury breakfasts are the perfect way to start the day. Every morning our guests find a delicious buffet with homemade cakes, biscuits and jams, alongside local cold cuts, cheeses, yoghurt, butter and farm honey. Dinner at our Trattoria is an experience not to be missed: dishes prepared with local ingredients, handmade pasta and carefully selected wines from the region, all served in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor swimming pool, with its panoramic view over the Umbrian countryside, is reserved exclusively for our guests.
The farmhouse has double, triple and family rooms, all with private bathroom, independent heating, air conditioning, LCD screen TV and a smallA small minibar, a kettle for tea and herbal infusions, water, and chocolates as a sweet welcome treat. Each accommodation overlooks the garden and the surrounding countryside, which generously gives us warm and different colours in every season of the year. Outside the rooms there is a lovely patio furnished with garden chairs, for a romantic aperitif, admiring the picturesque view or enjoying the coolness during summer evenings.

Gubbio is undoubtedly the most picturesque medieval town in Umbria. It is rich in palaces, a suspended square, many panoramic views and many experiences to be enjoyed all year round. It has become famous not only for being the setting for the famous fiction Don Matteo, starring Terence Hill, but also for being the stage for national initiatives and events. Just a few kilometres away from Agriturismo Ponte di Riocchio you can reach the most beautiful towns in Umbria: Assisi, the birthplace of St. Francis, Perugia, with its enchanting National Gallery of Umbria, Spello, known for its evocative "infiorata" or Spoleto, the scene of the Festival of the Two Worlds. Lake Trasimeno can be reached in less than an hour and, from there, you can take a boat to visit the Polvese island. Umbria is truly the region of Italy that knows how to surprise!
