The farmhouse, surrounded by greenery, is located in Pollein, a municipality on the edge of Aosta, from which you can easily reach the town centre (4 km away) the ski slopes (the Pila cable car is a few km away) and other tourist areas. Here, for several generations our family has been running this farm with passion and will. Today, new technologies and new machinery allow us to work better without changing the love for tradition and animals, in particular cattle of the Valdostana chestnut breed, which are bred to participate in the traditional 'Bataille des Reines'. From this passion comes the name of our farm 'La Reina'. In addition to cattle, there are smaller animals such as hens, rabbits, dogs and cats. The animals, bred with care and passion, provide us with healthy and genuine products. Other products, fresh and grown by us, come to us from the vegetable garden and orchard. The animals, during the summer period, move to our alpine pasture, Pesse, located in the commune of St. Pierre at 2000 m. Here, thanks to the good air and a wide expanse of green meadows we can produce a healthy and tasty Fontina cheese.
