Il Geco is located in Gallo Matese, situated at the northern entrance of the Matese Regional Park, with its three lakes of Gallo Matese, Letino and Matese, all within a short radius of 20 km. The location of B&B Il Geco is strategic and panoramic, as it overlooks a wide valley. Restored with particular attention to local architecture, characterized by the bare stone typical of the karst nature of the Matese, with rooms featuring pastel interiors, Il Geco offers the possibility of spending unforgettable stays and holidays filled with moments of pleasant, regenerating rest. If you love nature, walks (for example to the natural cypress grove, unique in Italy), mountain climbing, relaxation, silence and genuine food, then this is exactly the place for you. Il Geco has common areas, a large garden and car parking. It is also an excellent starting point for various types of excursions to the three surrounding lakes, the numerous springs of pure and crystal-clear water, the rivers or archaeological destinations rich in history, such as the palaeontological museum of Pietraroja, which houses the world's only fossil of a baby dinosaur, found in the area and named Ciro. Il Geco is a true bed and breakfast while offering the comfort of a hotel. Its rooms, double or single, overlook the garden and have independent entrances. To allow maximum autonomy, guests have their own personal keys. All rooms are equipped with heating, independent entrance and private bathroom complete with shower. Some also have a fireplace. Breakfast can be had in a dedicated area or, if preferred, independently in the room. Il Geco is open from May to October. Booking is essential, thank you. For bank holidays and public holidays at other times of the year, it is possible to arrange a stay in advance for a minimum of two nights and at least two people.
