The Borgoriccio Bed & Breakfast is located in the heart of Cilento, close to extraordinary places such as Pompeii and Agropoli, a stone's throw from the sea and surrounded by greenery, surrounded by a garden with over 400 olive trees, some of them centuries old, alternating with white fig trees, flowers and Mediterranean scrub. An enchanted place in the countryside of the characteristic village of Torchiara, in the province of Salerno, where owner Angela Riccio de Braud has decided to breathe new life into one of the most beautiful historical residences in the area. The village has kept its ancient appearance intact, with its magnificent noble palaces and the 1100 fortress church of San Salvatore. But Torchiara is best known for its Greenway, a 12-kilometre green route, which can be travelled on foot, by bicycle or on horseback, leading to the discovery of the village's architectural and scenic beauty. The Borgoriccio historical residence has recently been renovated to make its guests' stay more comfortable, and offers a Bed and Breakfast accommodation with all services. Completely self-sufficient in terms of energy thanks to a modern photovoltaic system, Borgoricco is the optimal solution for spending a slowholiday in Cilento. The building consists of the Casa Bassa, with 4 double rooms with private bathroom and air conditioning. The structure is completed by the Tower, the Upper House and the Library Tower. The different buildings are connected by stone stairs that wind through the flower garden in the shade of the olive trees. The organisation of the spaces makes it possible to have groups of guests distributed in the three lounges and in the many open-air corners: the solarium, the swimming pool, the breakfast areas, the wellness area with its hot whirlpool bath, the reading corners under the olive trees or in the north Torrino Library and the Wi Fi network accessible from any point.
