Ca' Cigolara is a yurt agri-campground on the Parma Apennines, in the Cacigolara area near Borgo Val di Taro. Founded in 2014, when its owners left Milan to recreate a Mongolian corner here. The yurts feature private bathrooms and showers. All around, animals and open fields. The kitchen uses vegetables from the garden and eggs from the structure's chickens. There is a swimming pool. In the evening, a bonfire is lit; the night is silent. The facility also hosts yoga and meditation retreats: the next one runs from September 4 to 7. Those arriving from nearby Parma will find a different pace, made of simple but genuine things.
