We are husband and wife, George and Valeria Genovese, directly transplanted in 2014 from the hinterland of Milan, stressful and chaotic, in Valtaro, (valley of the Taro River), in Emilia-Romagna, province of Parma (north of Tuscany and Liguria)... in short, we immersed ourselves in almost untouched nature. We dropped family, respective jobs as employees and dwelling to change totally life looking for a bit 'of "good way of living." what we do The passion of both for outdoor sports but especially the thirty years love of Giorgio for of 2 off-road wheels, Enduro rider longstanding with motorcycle before and mountain bike after, have been of inspiration to create something unique and innovative for these places: a tourist accommodation mainly dedicated to bikers, especially those who prefer the ALL-MOUNTAIN, and their bikes.
Our spacious Pet, Bike, & Eco-Friendly R&B, called 'TOLASUDOLSA' (in Parma dialect: take it easy), is located 830 metres above sea level in the Parma Apennines. We are immersed in absolute green, far from everything. The experience and atmosphere will be very familiar with the pleasure of falling asleep in the evening and waking up in the morning to the sounds of the forest, wild animals and the mountains. The traditional cuisine is homemade, genuine, and an attempt is made to cater for a type of tourism that is more respectful of the environment, the economy and the community, especially local (eco-cooking, anti-waste, KM 0, self-production, etc.).

The private bathrooms are external to the rooms but next to them. From the rooms there is direct access to the dining room where guests have a refrigerator and dishes at their disposal. Here you can choose to have breakfast at a time agreed between 07:30 and 09:30. Or you can choose to have it outdoors, always at an agreed time. From the rooms it is possible to admire the panorama of the garden below and the valley. Some elements cannot be sanitized therefore you will hardly see them again during your vacation. Perhaps there will be a lack of atmosphere, but the spaces will still be welcoming.

It is also possible to practice sports such as MOUNTAIN BIKE, ENDURO MOTORBIKE, TREKKING, TRAIL RUNNING, HORSE RIDING, SNOWSHOES, SLED DOG, NORDIC SKI AND CROSS-COUNTRY SKI. The area is renowned for the porcini mushroom IGP of Borgo Val di Taro, for the truffle of Valceno and for the delicious and tasty mountain food and wine, with dishes that are influenced by Parmesan, Ligurian and Tuscan cuisine. NEARBY - The WWF Oasis of Ghirardi, about 5 km away, extends over 600 hectares of meadows, woods and streams. It is the home of countless species of animals, plants and fungi; it hosts extremely rare habitats and an enchanting landscape, and it changes continuously as the seasons pass. Every day the Oasis is freely visitable on foot by accessing from Costa dei Rossi (Albareto) or Porcigatone (Borgotaro). The main towns, with museums, shops, cinemas, supermarkets, etc. are between 5 and 12 km away.
