Our apartment is part of Agriturismo Rio Verde Natura e Cultura, a converted country house just outside Sasso Marconi. It offers a garden with BBQ and children's playground. The 8 bedrooms and the apartment with rustic design and wood-beamed ceilings have private bathroom with large shower. The apartment is composed by a bedroom and a livingroom with two single beds, a fully equipped kitchen and a private bathroom with large shower and bidet. Satellite TV, free Wi-Fi are available. Breakfast and meals are available on request from our restaurant at Rio Verde serving typical dishes from the region. The Agriturismo also provides free parking and on request a shuttle to Sasso Marconi Train Station and other local destinations. Rio Verde Natura e Cultura is just outside Monte Sole Historic Regional Park. It is easily reached from the A1 motorway and is 20 minutes' drive from Bologna.

The municipality of Sasso Marconi falls within the territory of the Wine and Flavours Road of the Bolognese Apennines and the Wine and Flavours Road, Cities Castles and Cherries of Bologna and Modena and the district of the typical cherry of Vignola. Of great environmental interest is the San Gherardo Oasis, open to the public, at the foot of the wonderful and imposing badlands of the Pliocene Countfort, visitable upon request for groups and on pre-established dates. Our company is only 2 km away from the centre of Sasso Marconi, approximately 5 km from the motorway. The proximity to Bologna (18 km) and Casalecchio di Reno (8 km), as well as to important tourist and cultural destinations such as Florence, Ravenna, Ferrara, Venice etc. makes it an excellent base for your excursions. The train connection with the city of Bologna (travel time 25 min. and 60 min. to Florence) provides a further service opportunity for guests.
