I'm Rossana, born in 1974, originally from the city, and I've been living in val di Vara since 1997. I'm absolutely delighted to live here in the mountains and couldn't imagine life without it. For our guests staying with us, I love sharing the traditional crafts of our agricultural world: we can work together in the vegetable garden, spin wool, weave chair seats, braid baskets, and work with clay. I also write novels! It's not difficult to find inspiration in the mountain's peaceful silence.

Ask for detailsWe are a family of city origins who found their dimension in the countryside. Our company extends over 7 hectares; we cultivate fields and terraces set up for vegetables, cereals and berries. We raise donkeys and chickens, and in the winter we take care of the forest and work the terracotta obtained from our clay. Every Saturday morning we bring our products to the market square of Sestri Levante. Some of those who were boor raised in this farmhouse have helped us to renovate it respecting its history and its functions. The most fascinating part of the structure is certainly the bottoms. Restored and made safe. Currently they have not been used for uses that compromise their simplicity and authenticity. They are stones that tell a story of at least 300 years: you can guess the pig stable, the horse stable, the cow stable, the dovecote and the barn.
The accommodations we offer are 4 apartments, all spread over two levels: on the ground floor you will find kitchens and bathrooms, and on the first floor the bedrooms. For guests with mobility difficulties, we provide sofa beds on the ground floor, while for children we are equipped with cots complete with safety rails. The sizes vary from 55 sqm to 70 sqm and all apartments are provided with bed linens and household amenities.

We have at your disposal the produce from our garden and our fruit and vegetable preserves, eggs, chickens and aromatic herbs. We often organize easy walks accompanied by donkeys, especially on Saturdays, when we reach the village to attend Mass; we would be honored if you joined us. We would also love to invite you to participate in farm work and animal care. You will find it fascinating to learn to distinguish the clays for modeling, for firing and those for coloring!… And for the more adventurous, we would be delighted to organize tree climbing afternoons. Alberto was 3-time Italian champion and instructor of this discipline at the agricultural school of Parco di Monza …With proper precautions, you can trust us!!!
We are in the heart of the Val di Vara, surrounded by small medieval villages, among all we recommend visiting Varese Ligure. 20 km away are the beaches of Sestri Levante, Riva Trigoso.. a little further away Moneglia, Deiva Marina, Framura, Levanto, Bonassola. From Levanto begin the 5 Lands: Monterosso, Vernazzo, Corniglia, Manarola, Riomaggiore. At the gates of La Spezia there is Portovenere, while going towards Genoa you can visit Camogli, Recco, Portofino, San Fruttuoso.
