At Costa di Campo, nestled among olive groves and vineyards above Vernazzo, you can arrive in five minutes by car from the village and in fifteen from Monterosso. There are four rooms, each named after local grape varieties: Albarola, suitable for families or groups of four, then Bosco, Vermentino and Merlot, designed for couples, with an extra bed available upon request. Each room has a private entrance, en-suite bathroom with shower, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, minibar, hairdryer and a selection of herbal infusions for the evening. From the furnished terraces, the sea is visible from every room, and at sunset you'll find yourself lingering there with a glass of wine, watching the colours dance across the water. There's also a gazebo, perfect for an evening picnic. Upon arrival, the owner welcomes guests and suggests what to see in the surrounding area. The location is within Cinque Terre National Park, between the trails leading to Corniglia and Monterosso: boats depart from Vernazzo to Portovenere and Palmaria, and there are excursions for snorkelling in the protected marine area. Those looking for shops can easily reach the Brugnato outlet or La Spezia.
