Simple and tasty is Salento cuisine, for the combination of quality products from the good earth ripened in the sun enhanced by the herbs of the Mediterranean scrubland and olive oil. The sun, the wind, the sea ripen spontaneous products that skilled hands will elaborate to become true dishes of Salento cuisine. Our dishes are largely made using organic products from the farm, and reflect local tradition, aromas of simple things and flavors of dishes to be enjoyed with excellent local wines. We propose a different menu every day with a wide variety of appetizers based on vegetables, focaccia, pittule, croquettes/panzerotti, fried with olives, white beans with chicory, peperonata, salted mussels with fried bread, local cheeses, etc. First courses based on homemade fresh pasta, here are some specialties: sagne torte, orecchiette and cavatelli, lasagna, cannelloni, various pignate and much more. Second courses based on grilled meat (sausage, pork or veal chop, turcinieddu/gnommareddhi, skewer, pancetta), horse meat in pignata or with sauce, filled meatloaf, rabbit with sauce, etc., all accompanied by vegetable side dishes. To finish, seasonal fruit and typical homemade desserts (pasticciotto leccese, fruit tarts). The restaurant service is also open to external visitors, upon reservation. A basic meal consists of: - house appetizers; - a first course; - a second course with side dish; - water and wine; - coffee;
