Description Fattoria La Traccia

We are an organic farmhouse located in Alghero, and we welcome our visitors by accommodating them in rooms immersed in an oasis of naturalness. At Fattoria La Traccia you can choose whether to stay while enjoying a breakfast with the products of our land or to immerse yourself and actively experience our land by visiting the farm and participating in activities. Everything we offer our guests comes from our garden, our animals and our own production, which is why we can only welcome a few visitors at a time and do not have a mass catering service. We wanted to express our poetic and romantic vision of farmhouse: 'a place where you can eat wholesomely, learn to make your own products to enjoy and take time to reconnect with nature'. Who we are

HI! We are Antonio, Daniela and Marilena. Our human family is enlarged by all our animals that are part of it: cows, sheep, hens, dogs, cats, bees, chickens, pigs, rabbits and…who knows how many more will come... We decided to build a place where our daughter Marilena has the opportunity to grow up relating and dealing with Nature, experiencing it to the fullest. But we thought it would be nice to give the possibility to live this experience to anyone who wanted it. Our farm was bothis way.

The Farmhouse's three rooms are uniquely furnished and designed to create cosy, relaxing and comfortable environments for our guests. They are called Sun, Wind and Earth, which are the elements we wanted to honour as they characterise the farm. Our catering service is dedicated to customers staying in the structure, a few tables to guarantee genuine dishes of our production. You can decide whether to have half board (dinner) or not. We offer a menu consisting of a first course, a second course and a dessert or fruit with water at a price of €30 per person. Our cuisine is typical, mainly organic and using refined raw materials or those of our own production.

Our breakfast is rich and tailor-made according to customer requests. We offer both the possibility of enjoying sweet dishes such as cakes made by us, typical desserts, and savory dishes such as cold cuts, cheeses and eggs. If the customer has special requests we always try to satisfy them.

Surroundings (Alghero)

Our structure is located in a strategic position as we are about 3km from the airport, in a natural area and preserved from the chaos of the city of Alghero, which is only 6km from us. The area in which we are located is called Fertilia, and is a small fraction of Alghero, the nearest sea or rather the coast is only 3km, from there you can visit the most beautiful beaches in the area in terms of nature and landscape. We are very close to Palmavera, a nuragic site, and to different trekking routes. Our position is also perfect for those who want to stretch out a little further and visit the whole north-eastern area of Sardinia, touring Sassari, Porto Torres and the beautiful Stintino without too much difficulty. In addition, from Alghero you can visit various museums and take advantage of organised tours. Around us you can enjoy various experiences and adventures, you can ride at sunset on the beach, go diving, climb the beautiful rocks of Capo Caccia, go on boat trips, use the Go Kart, and much more.
