Our land house Agriturismo Aradonì is located a little outside Aritzo, a small mountain village with about 1,400 inhabitants, 852 meters high just at the foot of the Gennargentu massif. The property is set amidst a beautiful landscape, surrounded by a 15 Ha wood of hazel nuts, chestnuts, cork trees and oaks, where visitors can also see a lot of animals which the Agriturismo Aradoni and the woods around are home to: horses, pigs, wild pigs chickens and rabbits. Our accommodations, the "Pinnetos " are embedded into the wood and built in a traditional style that is typical for Sardinian shepherd huts: round slate buildings with a conical wooden roof. The furniture is made of chestnut wood and also typical for this region. We have 6 large one-room-Pinnetos, all supplied with a double bed (one more bed is available on request), fireplace and bathroom. Room service includes daily room/bath cleaning and laundry change twice a week. The restaurant is a large building in the same style of our rooms and can accommodate 90 guests. The area is accessible for disabled people. The meals we serve certainly reflect the Sardinian tradition. All ingredients are carefully chosen and are produced only in our region. A number of delicious dishes, from the starters to the desserts spoil and surprise our guests over and over again: self-made ham and sausages, pickles, Pijos (lasagna), Coccoi cun Gerda (greaves and onion bread), various types of pasta, Culurgiones ( ravioli), Trattalias e Cordas (fried offal), Bentr 'e Samene (a kind of blood sausage), pork and much more. Cakes and desserts are also prepared only with genuine ingredients and include traditional nut cakes and cookies, fruit cakes and cheese desserts (Seadas).
