The olmi grossi (great elm trees) farm is a completely restored country house built at the beginning of nineteen century: it was part of an old convent. The torrini family is the owner of the farm. Their love fo ature and the art of restoring old building naturally led to the decision to transforming the country house into a splendid mansion available for selected vacationers. In the olmi grossi farm you will find simplicity and cordiality, typical of people from tuscany. Not many places around the world can offer the view from the country hills surrounding florence like olmi grossi. This is surely one of main reasons to select this resort. Here you can spend suggestive moments in the wonderful countryside of chianti: you will never forget the view at the sunset. N the olmi grossi farm there many olive trees, typical of that part of tuscany. The olive oil extracted from those trees is excellent. In our farm the olive oil production is, in fact, the major activity. The high quality is guaranteed by the care taken on each single tree. Also, the torrini family is the owner of the ancient oil mill of impruneta (called frantoio doglia), so that they can control all the steps of their olive oil production. In the autumn period torrini family is really busy at working in the oil mill and, following the tradition, produces an olive oil of upper quality, that is i. g . p . Certified. ( igp indicazione geografica protetta – protected geographical origin). If you fancy a swim there is a beautiful swimming pool, where you can enjoy sunbathing and relaxation. From the swimming pool you can admire the lovely surroundings and the breathtaking landscape, hearing only the sounds coming from the countryside. Also in front of the Agriturismo ther's the stop of bus' service for to go in Florence without car and without problem of parking in the city.
