La Tinaia is a small agriturismo located in an old farmhouse, completely renovated, and set in the hills of Scandicci in a panoramic position, just 5 km from the stop of the tramway line T1 that leads, every 5 minutes, to Florence in 18 minutes. In less than an hour you can reach the most beautiful and enchanting places in Tuscany. We offer hospitality in 5 carefully decorated apartments that enjoy beautiful views of the Chianti hills and all have well-equipped kitchens, wi-fi connection, air conditioning or fans and beds that make sleeping easier. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. The property is surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woods and is accessible by a convenient paved road. This area has a high scenic and naturalistic value and offers many CAI (Italian Alpine Club) trekking routes to do by walking or on mountain bikes. Guests have at their disposal the large garden with ample space for dining, relaxing and sunbathing on the edge of the beautiful pool that is cleaned and checked daily. We produce and sell Chianti d.o.c.g. wine and EVO oil of excellent quality and offer tastings of our products. A good Tuscan cuisine restaurant is within a 5-minute walking distance, and other restaurants, trattorias and pizzerias are within a few minutes' drive.

The farm holiday La Tinaia offers hospitality in 5 cosy and comfortable accommodations, all with well-equipped kitchens for cooking and eating. The bathrooms are equipped with shower, bidet, washbasin and WC and all have a window. Wi-Fi connection in all the apartments, air conditioning in some and ceiling fans in others. The flats can accommodate 2 or 4 people, some are located on the ground floor and others on the high floor (30 steps). They all enjoy beautiful views of the countryside, have beds that help you sleep well and are furnished in the Tuscan style. You will feel at home! The price includes: good quality linen for bed, bathroom, kitchen and pool, air conditioning, wi-fi, parking and final cleaning. There are no additional charges. In the summer period, stays are weekly.

We are 20 minutes (10 km) from Florence, which can be reached by tram on the T1 line from Scandicci, a 10-minute drive from the agriturismo. Parking is free and the tram passes every 5 minutes. Ideal for day trips to the cradle of the Renaissance, a Unesco heritage site. Agriturismo La Tinaia is located on the hills of Scandicci, 300 metres above sea level, in an area of great natural and scenic value surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and woods. The area has numerous CAI trekking routes and a museum park with sculptures by contemporary artists (poggio Valicaia). 25 km Golf club Bellosguardo in Vinci, 8 km Tennis in Scandicci, 9 km Riding centre in Cerbaia. La Tinaia is an excellent starting point for discovering the most fascinating places in Tuscany. In 30-40 minutes you can reach Vinci (city of Leonardo), Certaldo, San Donato in Poggio, Barberino Val d'Elsa and in less than an hour San Gimignano (Unesco heritage site), Siena, Pisa, Lucca and the Chianti Classico area. The sea is an hour away. In our small hamlet of Santa Maria a Marciola, a 5-minute walk away, there is a typical restaurant Ristorante Fiore. A few minutes away are trattorias, inns and pizzerias.Map
