For over thirty years, we have been welcoming guests to one of the first agriturismi in San Gimignano. In the 1980s, Martina and her family were among the few pioneers who believed in agritourism. Today, Fiammetta, Martina’s daughter, welcomes guests with the same warm and friendly spirit, because here, in our agriturismo, everyone should feel like a friend. Relaxation, comfort, privacy—but with a homely, friendly atmosphere! This small rural hamlet is surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, which form the heart of our farm, producing renowned wines such as Chianti dei Colli Senesi DOCG, Vernaccia di San Gimignano DOCG, and extra virgin olive oil. A place of absolute peace and reflection, our agriturismo offers the opportunity to experience the authentic Tuscany, immersed in the working life of a family-run farm that has been dedicated for decades to producing the excellence of this land. At Il Monchino, there are two buildings dedicated to hospitality: the large farmhouse and the former hay barn, both restored with great care and respect for Tuscan traditions, preserving the original structures and materials. These house welcoming double and triple rooms, each with a private bathroom and shared lounges. The buildings are surrounded by a large garden, fully equipped for relaxation, and a beautiful swimming pool with a terrace, offering breathtaking views of Chianti—the perfect place to enjoy a moment of pure relaxation and well-being.
