About 1km from the medieval town of San Gimignano, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees and vineyards cultivated with Vernaccia, lies the Agritourism of the Abbey of Monte Oliveto, built in 1340 by the Olivetan monks. The "Abbazia Monte Oliveto" farm, today property of the the Zonin family, offers 7 comfortable apartments, harmoniously furnished in typical Tuscan country style, dominated by the legendary towers of San Gimignano and immersed in the surrounding greenery of the countryside. Each apartment has every possible comfort, including heating, satellite television and telephone. The apartments are all different so there is something to suit everyone, and some rooms have bathrooms which are specially equipped for the disabled. Our guests have access to a large car park, the garden, the swimming pool and our store selling typical farm produce such as top-quality wine and olive oil. A charming holiday on the farm in close contact with nature also offers you the opportunity to make use of a range of facilities: 500 metres away the tennis courts, at 12 km and 25 km are available the Colle Val D’Elsa and the Castelfalfi golf courses. If you enjoy horse riding there are stables in San Gimignano (4 Km.). And of course there is the possibility to go on mountain bike excursions (bikes available for hire 1 Km away) and trekking excursions along pathways in the vicinity.

Accommodation is offered in an apartment equipped with bed and bathroom linens. Final cleaning, use of the swimming pool and private parking are free of charge. Guests can use tables and chairs in the spacious garden. Wine tastings from the estate paired with typical Tuscan products are available upon request. The historic town center is reachable on foot in 10 minutes. The nearest supermarket is approximately 700m away. Tennis courts, bicycle and scooter rental are located about 500m away. The riding stable is 5km away.
