Le Garzette Country House is a typical farmhouse of the Venetian lagoon, located in the greenest and most authentic part of the island of Lido di Venezia. The owners Salvatore and Renza offer hospitality with attention to food quality and care for the surrounding environment; furthermore, the strategic position between the sea and the lagoon makes the atmosphere of the place ideal for a relaxing holiday. The house is surrounded by vegetable gardens and spontaneous native vegetation, a few steps from the sea and very close to the beautiful beach of "Alberoni", which is part of a WWF protected oasis. The proximity to the very famous Alberoni Golf Course allows our guests to enjoy sporting and relaxing stays. We are also well connected by public transport to Venice and its islands; Piazza San Marco can be reached in 30 minutes. We offer guests some bicycles to go on excursions around the island of Lido and the nearby Pellestrina, a typical fishing island. We are also pleased to be able to suggest all the tourist itineraries of a very important ecosystem such as the Venice lagoon. The cuisine of the "Le Garzette" restaurant is based mainly on typical products from the vegetable garden grown in a natural way; we therefore offer dishes that vary with the seasonal availability of our land: tomatoes, asparagus, peppers, aubergines, courgettes and above all the famous Malamocco artichokes, also combining excellent menus of exclusively local fresh fish. We also prepare excellent jams with the fruit that grows in our fields, a fundamental element in the abundant breakfasts provided to our guests. We naturally also offer typical Venetian cuisine recipes for more elaborate lunches and dinners. Our country house offers the possibility of staying in five rooms, all furnished in late nineteenth-century style, with views of the garden, sea and lagoon. We have a double room with private bathroom and a small terrace overlooking the garden; a triple room with private bathroom and a large south-facing terrace; two double rooms interconnecting with a bathroom, ideal for a family; on the top floor there is a mansard suite with sea and lagoon views for two people. All rooms are welcoming and quiet, ideal for a stay in the name of relaxation and well-being!
