The country house “Le Favate” in the Cilento National Park. Near the sea, in a wonderful landscape, in an area which is steeped in history, is the Favate estate The house, the chapel, and the water mill which were builts in 1600 are still, miraculously intact, and stand surrounded by old olive groves in an estate of 100 hectares. Here you will find a place and a way of life you thought had long ago disappereared. Our house has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It has been sympathtically restored usin traditionals materials, there are massive woodan beams and handmade terracotta floors

Descripción habitaciones

The rooms are simply but stylishly furnished: having telefone, television, and private services, with bath and/or hydromassage shower. There are fireplaces or wood burning stoves in the room. The original stone staircase leads to a dove cote. There is a spacious restaurant, a games room and the lounge with it’s huge fireplace is a pleasant place to relax in. The old cellars now contain a room for meeting or conference.

The possibilities for relaxation are many. The area is able to offert sport, art-culture and sea. For those who enjoy the countyside, there are wonderful walking opportunities, and horse riding through the surrounding olive groves. All the important archaeological sitos of Magna Graecia, Paestum and Velia are easily accessible by public transport. Near by nearby and within easy driving distance are such well know places as the Charterhouse of Padula, Capri, Palinuro and many, very old and picturesque gvillages.
