Good news for the lovers of nature and sport: are born the Sports Farms, farm houses that offer training track in the green of their estates, offering real opendoors gymnasium.
The “smart tracks” present in the farm houses will be high technologic: the circuits, in fact, will be equipped with time detection systems at fixed intervals so that athletes, using a microchip on the shoelaces, will be able to detect automatically the time of passage.
The project, promoted by the CIA and Fidal, offers the possibility to keep fit enjoying an healthy natural environment, and to combine the sports to the discover of a territory and local products. But there’s more! Sportsmen can taste snacks “ad hoc” with seasonal fruits and organic food produced in the farm house.
The testing phase of the project is already at a good point in Puglia, Veneto and Umbria and is being launched in many other Italian regions.
