Ancient river-stone farmhouse from the early twentieth century, La Locanda dei Cocomeri has been completely renovated respecting the characteristics of rural architecture to offer guests a unique and welcoming atmosphere. The garden is large and well-kept, with fruit trees, Mediterranean plants such as lavender and rosemary. Distinctive features are the decades-old prickly pear plants and the shaded olive grove. Spending a day in the countryside becomes an important moment for children to become familiar with rural nature, understand the relationships between production systems, food consumption, and environmental protection. Upon reservation, the inn organizes educational tours for schools within our farm: The large greenhouses with protected crops. The oil mill where all the steps from olive harvesting to milling can be followed. The dairy: from milk collection to its processing for the production of cheeses and ricotta. The production of energy with biogas from farm biomass.

The Locanda dei Cocomeri has 6 bedrooms furnished with style and cared for in the smallest details. Rooms in which sleeping means rediscovering well-being: each room is in fact equipped with 100% natural vegetable latex mattresses placed on adjustable wooden slats according to the needs of each guest. All rooms are also equipped with air conditioning, plasma television with Sky connection and bathrooms with large showers.

Services Farm-house

Conceived as a place to feel like home, La Locanda has dedicated three lounges to its guests. Two rooms are on the ground floor to entertain with friends before sitting at the table or after the meal. The other, more private and intimate, is located on the upper floor, perfect for reading a bit in front of the fireplace or for listening to good music before going to sleep in the adjacent rooms. The welcoming lounges are also the perfect location for meetings or workshops. In that case our staff will be happy to assist you from the organizational phases, from the choice of menu to the decorations and floral ornaments of the rooms.
