The agriturismo is a facility located at 350 m above sea level, immersed in 9 hectares of nature, situated on a hill from which it is possible to admire a glimpse of the Gulf of Squillace and the imposing castle of the characteristic town. The agriturismo was established with the intention of creating and offering a family atmosphere and providing guests with the opportunity to relax in contact with nature and animals, and to enjoy gastronomic specialties made from farm products and those of neighboring farms. The estate consists of approximately 3 hectares of olive grove, approximately 1 hectare of orchard, 3 hectares of grazing meadow, and the remaining portion of arable land. Our guests must feel at home and enjoy the benefits of a holiday marked by tranquility and silence, far from the city chaos. The facility consists of an indoor dining room that can accommodate up to a maximum of 30 seats; in summer the outdoor portico can be used, which can accommodate, for the moment, a maximum of 40 seats and offers the opportunity to admire the wonderful panorama. There are 5 rooms, all double rooms, equipped with en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and television, with the possibility of adding a cot or a small bed. On the estate it is possible to take pleasant walks on foot, or in the company of our donkeys Giusy and Merlino, and our mare Shakira; the more sporty can use the mountain bikes or go Nordic walking, the more adventurous can use the quad bike. Nearby, for sports enthusiasts, it is possible to practice horse riding, diving, spinning, and tennis, by reservation. It is also possible to organize excursions to visit the village of Squillace with its Norman castle dating back to 1044 and the workshops that produce ceramics; visits can be arranged to the Guglielmo roastery, where coffee appreciated by Calabrians and beyond is produced. A 5-minute drive away, the wonderful beaches of the Ionian side of Squillace Lido and Copanello can be reached, and approximately 40 minutes away, the beaches of the Tyrrhenian side of Tropea (renowned for its onion) and Pizzo (known for its truffle and other delicious ice creams) can be visited.
